A revolutionary film that represents the freedom and the independence from ideal. A story of a young man who chose to leave behind the usual way of life and realize his childhood dream for adventure in the nature. The film makes you imagine yourself in the footsteps of the hero and think about your choices so far. The hero is educated and intelligent. He changed the bad effects of the past to knowledge and proper attitudes. In my opinion, the only bad thing is that his personality does not seems to be affected by his adventures, giving him an arrogant tone. But it's respected because the story is based on true events (written by Jon Krakauer)
A story of a "different" teenager, who always accept criticism, even from his family. Through the interview shows his surfing story and his opportunity to prove who really he is. The animation depicts very realistic movements, the beauty and culture of the sport. It is enriched by nice soundtrack, funny moments and interesting characters. It draw viewers interest even if are not engaged in surfing.
A survival story of a climber, which gives to viewer the opportunity to make self-criticism for the choices of the past, of today and reflect about the future. Also provide exploration to the human imagination and the strength of psychosomatic needs. The redemptive end shows that human learns from his mistakes. The human possibilities are many. The confidence is essential, but should never exceed the limits of our self-esteem. An optimistic film about the life that give you strength to continue even in difficult conditions.
